Absolutely over the moon with all the feather edge fencing, the rubber roof and the new garage, they strive for perfection and that’s what they gave us, very very good price, they cleaned up every day, Phillip and his team were extremely professional and very polite at all times, the timescale was total of 4 days which amazes me. We hired Phil and his team after receiving a few different quotes. We were swayed by the qualifications and previous jobs/reviews about Activate Construction. We are so impressed with the work that Phil and his team undertook for us-a first storey extension above an existing ground floor extension. Our original plans had been drawn up, however Phil’s expertise in the area led him to suggest another configuration which enabled us to add an extra bedroom as well as relocating our bathroom upstairs. We did hit a few snags and issues, however, all these were dealt with and sorted by Phil and his team quickly and efficiently. All the workers involved were professional, polite, hard working and very knowledgeable. We also asked Phil to create a decking area in our garden after our extension had been finished. We would highly recommend Phil and Activate Construction for any building work and would use them again in the future!
Upon first meeting Mr Sheldon presented as a very knowledgeable, empathetic professional. He treated my wife and I with respect and understanding and was incredibly supportive throughout the initial planning process as well as the early design stage. In less than a weeks notice Mr Sheldon was able to start the footings for our double extension. He was able to source a team of very hardworking, considerate builders and labourers to erect the extension in a very quick manner. My neighbours still comment on how quick the Construction was as well as how neat the work was. As well as the double extension, his company also completely redesigned our side and back garden. The finished product is outstanding and has been enjoyed by the family all through the recent summer.
All waste products from the building work were disposed of regularly and professionally throughout the process. Mr Sheldon was also booked for a complete gut and subsequently a new fitting of the interior of the house as his work ethic and way he utilises his team of tradesmen was clearly something special. He also insists on keeping a very concise breakdown of costs which, I hasten to add, stay as consistent and reasonable as he can possibly make them. The products and material he uses are always top quality and the best price. His insistence on perfection with his team and the work being done made the wife and I feel happy enough to step away from the project for a while and focus on other things.
Dale Sheldon has been trustworthy and reliable throughout the entire process. To say I am over the moon with the finished product would be a massive understatement. Dale Sheldon has given my wife, children and I our forever home and I am extremely grateful to him for the job he has done as well as the countless hours he has put in at no extra cost just to ensure the perfection he insists upon. Phil and his team at Activate Construction came highly recommended when we were looking to extend. The project involved both demolition and rebuilding a large orangery extension with limited access at the side of the property which other builders had been reluctant to take on. From the beginning of the process Phil appeared knowledgeable and approachable, moving quickly to help make our vision a reality. Throughout the build he was courteous, friendly, efficient and professional, sticking to agreed targets and timescales. Problems that arose with the build were approached with a ‘can-do’ attitude and finding alternative ways to achieve the objective. The building team were hardworking, reliable and ensured the area was kept tidy each day. We were thrilled with the end result which has greatly enhanced family living.
